Special Validation

  • Please note that Zain operator mandates the checkout redirection flow so they will be redirected to operator checkout to complete the subscription and then redirect back to the service.

  • Cancellation from the service should be without Pincode verification.

  • Subscribe button on LP must be “Get PIN”.
  • To mention price and free Trial under Subscribe.
  • Second-time subscribers must be with parking period instead of initial payment.

  • MO cancellation is handled by the operator (Not needed to be mentioned in Welcome SMS) and not to be sent from the tpay side.

  • 1 Day free is mandatory.
  • Unsub Keyword should be Unique and related to the service Name.

  • Welcome SMS should contain only the instructions to use the service. No need to mention cancellation KW or Price point.

Please find the most common issues as follows:

  • Incorrect or missing free trial information on landing pages.
  • Incorrect shortcode or unsub keyword in T&Cs.
  • Having to enter MSISDN multiple times when subscribing.
  • Sending multiple SMSs.
  • Incorrect button labelling.
  • MSISDN entry – Get PIN.
  • PIN entry – Subscribe.
  • Landing page if using checkout – Subscribe.
  • Mentioning that they can unsubscribe for free.

Note

  • No cancellation with PIN code. Only direct cancellation is supported. - Cancellation API will respond with an error, but the cancellation will be successful within a second. So, ignore the API response and depend on the Push Notification. Display to them this message:

“عملية الالغاء قيد التنفيذ، برجاء انتظار رسالة التأكيد” or “cancellation in progress, please wait for the confirmation SMS”.
